Dan DeMello’s experience working on international productions began in 2009 with the Mexico City-based Thomas Jefferson Institute’s musical Anjou, which he represented in both New York and Mexico City. This early project gave him valuable experience securing and coordinating press coverage abroad, and laid the foundation for a career that has since spanned multiple countries.

Between 2014 and 2017, Daniel directed the publicity for all of the global dating app SCRUFF’s international events, securing press coverage for the app and its Founders in cities such as New Delhi, India; São Paulo, Brazil; Zurich, Switzerland; London, England; and Vancouver, Canada.

His international portfolio includes representing various companies from New Zealand, such as Pace Live! and The Dance Music Sensation of Ireland, the Off-Broadway production of Counting Sheep, and the Vancouver-based company that presented Reborning. He has also worked with the South Korean-based Dimo Kim Musical Theatre Factory.

UK clients have included comedian Ashley Blaker, securing all the major press coverage for his various Off-Broadway productions and Jack and Zoe Comedy, and their cult classic: A Night Of Drama.

Daniel’s work abroad also includes productions such as Lured at the Off Off Broadway Theater in Rome,  Stop/Over at The Chocolate Factory in Dublin, and The Last Days of Cleopatra, an Off Broadway run that first premiered at The Irish Repertory Theatre in New York and then moved onto a critically acclaimed run at The New Theatre in Dublin.

In Toronto he served as a press representative for Potted Potter at the Panasonic Theatre.
